Detention Relief
The Urban refugees in Thailand face significant challenges due to the lack of legal recognition. They live in constant fear of detention, which often leads to isolation.
Refugees can be held indefinitely in an immigration detention center in harsh living conditions. Bail is possible and Life Raft focuses on family reunification. A bond must be posted as part of the bail process which allows refugee detainees to live outside of the detention centers.
IDC Visits - We do weekly visits to the detention center and manage a visitation system that allows refugees to be visited regularly.

IDC Cooking Project - Refugee mothers, whose husbands are detained, cook food for detainees. The meals are a source of nutrition. This project empowers women to provide for their families.
